dilahirkan pada tahun 1810 ke dalam sebuah keluarga tukang kraf, beliau begitu takjub dengan seni pembuatan minyak wangi dan beliau kemudiannya mengembara melintas Eropah untuk menjadi perantis pelajar Jean-Marie Farina, pencipta termasyhur Eau de Cologne.
pada masa beliau berumur hanya 20 tahun, beliau telah mendapat gelaran Master-Perfumer dan membuka kedainya yang pertama di Paris dengan nama "To the Flowered Basket". kreativiti dan hasrat beliau yang mahukan kesempurnaan telah menjadikan nama beliau begitu dikenali di seluruh kota Paris.
Dilantik sebagai "Pembuat Minyak Wangi Istana", beliau kemudiannya diberikan gelaran pembekal minyak wangi Ratu Victoria, Maharaja Napoleon III dan seterusnya kesemua pemimpin negara yang terpenting di Eropah.
Beliau telah berjaya mendapat pelbagai anugerah di setiap pameran antarbangsa yang disertainya dan menjelang penghujung kurun ke-19 telah menjadi tukang pembuat minyak wangi yang terunggul di dunia.

HISTORY OF LAMPE BERGER
Founded in 1897 by a French pharmacist by the name of Maurice Berger. He was inspired to find an effective method to disinfect the air (remove bacteria) and bad odour from hospitals in France. He perfected the technique to create a formulation called "Ozoalcool" together with a unique catalytic burner. This special catalytic burner, after being heated, will steadily release the prifying properties of "anions" into the air.
1927, Plant essential oils were introduced into the formulation together with diffusers that were designed by world master craftsmen and Lampe Berger became a leader in the Aromatherapy Industry.
Today, Lampe Berger owns one of the most modern factory inthe Aromatherpy industry and is acknowledged as a leader in the fragrance and clean air therapy business.
